The information is locked into memory until the unit is shut off; moving to a new location, or replacing batteries. Park-Zone's® electric eye pings every two seconds, 24 hours a day. It remains in this awareness state all year, whether your car is in it's park zone or not. When designing Park-Zone, the engineers had one goal: Operational efficiency. They developed a printed circuit board with the latest in power-saving technology. This permits circuits not currently in use to shut down. Park-Zone has been tested under extreme temperature conditions without reduction in performance.
